अँटिसेप्टिक हे जंतू कमी करण्यासाठी त्वचेवर लावायचे द्रव किंवा क्रीम आहेत. ते किरकोळ कापलेल्या जखमा आणि खरचटणे यांवर किंवा एखाद्या प्रक्रियेआधी वापरले जातात. ते फक्त बाहेरून वापरण्यासाठी आहेत. खोल, घाणेरड्या किंवा चावल्यामुळे झालेल्या जखमांसाठी फक्त अँटिसेप्टिक पुरेसे नसते, डॉक्टरांची गरज असते.
